My name is
Jennifer Lambden. I have had dogs my entire
life, but I have been lucky enough to have
mastiffs for the last sixteen years.
Right now,
I share an acre in South Texas with four
beautiful apricot girls, Bailey, Brianna,
Buffy, and Willow, who spend their days
swimming and lounging on the porch. Lately,
we mostly enjoy just hanging out at the
house, but have participated in events from
conformation to obedience, rally, carting,
and therapy work.
Carting
isn’t just an activity for the show ring.
Brianna helps me with yard work – she’s even
helped me get my riding mower unstuck! When
I get her harness out, she jumps around and
is so happy that she’s going to get to
work.
One of the
things I love most about mastiffs is their
working dog heritage. Carting is one of the
ways that our mastiffs can continue that
heritage.
I was very
honored when I was asked to judge open draft
at this year’s specialty, and I look forward
to seeing some great teams working!
