Head For The Hills...The beautiful Fontana Village Resort is tucked away on 400 acres in the Great Smoky Mountains close to Fontana Lake and just a short distance from the Appalachian trail. There are several different accommodations to choose from ranging from Lodge rooms to cabins tucked under the trees.

The Lodge offers everything you would want when visiting the mountains. The rooms are well appointed, have central air and heat and are an easy walk to our outdoor show area. Rooms are serviced every day. The Lodge offers wireless internet access in the lobby with its grand fireplace and wonderful views of the mountains. There is also a restaurant located in the lodge and complimentary coffee. All cabins include a kitchen facilities and refrigerators and range from one bedroom and bath to three bedrooms and two baths with washer and dryer. Cabins receive only light housekeeping and new towels and linens every other day. Nightly rates and key features of the cabins and rooms are below.

More Information..

All Rooms with dogs have a $50.00 non refundable pet fee. (You MAY receive a confirmation letter from the hotel after you make your reservation indicating you will be accessed a $150 pet fee. This is NOT the case and will be corrected at check in. )		Most cabins have wood floors- please bring pads for crates to site on

All cabins have a fully equipped kitchen. Lodge rooms do not have refrigerators and a limited number of hair dryers and irons are available at the front desk		Dogs must be crated in rooms at all times. Lodge rooms must be serviced daily and Cabins must be accessible to housekeeping for the 'every other day' service.

3 dog limit in ALL rooms and Cabins. Please contact the show chairs if you will have more dogs before booking your room and you will have to plan to book a Magnolia or Azalea		Please note that Additional fees will be accessed for any damage or extraordinary cleaning required

THERE IS NO CELLPHONE SERVICE AT THE RESORT!
Plan to bring a pre-paid phone card to make free calls from your room or cabin! Most satellite phones do work at the resort. If you cannot be without a phone, please rent one before you arrive.
For private transport between the Asheville Airport and Fontana contact Elite Transportation at 828-890-2424. We are told that their vans will be able to accommodate dogs.

Your credit card will be immediately charged for one night room and tax upon reserving your room(s) for each room/cabin reserved. Note: You MAY receive a confirmation letter form the hotel after you make your reservation that indicates you will be accessed a $150 pet fee upon check in. This is NOT the case and will be corrected at check in.

Cancellation: All cancellations made 31 days or more before May 7,2009, will receive a refund of their deposit less $50.00

Cancellations within 30 days of May 7, 2009 forfeit the entire deposit of one nights lodging & tax

There are several other hotels in the area which do accept pets at the time of printing, however most of these are at least 25 minutes from the show site via winding mountain roads. These hotels will be considered to be “Show Grounds” and any reported damage will be subject to a bench show committee.

We do not have negotiated rates. Most of these do have pet limits and will charge pet fees or damage deposits.

We will contact them after the show to access any damages. Please verify that their pet policy has not changed when reserving.
